Young Project Coordinators Grow Up

Project description

The project starts from the conclusions of the sixth Structured Dialogue, which highlight how “an increasing number of young people do not trust the EU, they find difficult to understand its principles, values and functioning.”

The project is co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme European Youth Together and implemented by GSI Italia in partnership with the Portuguese association Embaixada da Juventude, the Lithuanian association TAVO EUROPA, the Czech association ICM JINDRICHUV HRADEC ZS and the Slovak association SYTEV.

Objectives of the project:

1. involve young students, preferably from rural and mountainous areas and small youth associations, poor in planning skills and in the ability to access European programs for young people;

2. facilitate their connection with other countries, promoting cooperation between them to co-design the “Europe we want” on the European Youth calls;

3. develop specific skills among teachers, operators of participating associations and volunteers, to facilitate the project activity of young people on European calls;

4. increase the access to Erasmus + platforms and the number of project proposals submitted by young students and small participating youth associations, in the territories involved in the project.
