THE HOSPITAL IN KHAN YUNIS IN THE GAZA STRIP HAS BEEN BOMBED ONCE AGAIN

The so-called ceasefire that Israel claims to be observing – except in cases of attacks justified by military necessity – is contradicted by the facts and by reports reaching us from our Palestinian medical colleagues in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and southern Lebanon, as well as from our correspondent Sami Abu Omar in Gaza.
It was our colleagues at Nasser Hospital in Kha Yunis – with whom GSI Italia is working to provide distance learning for paramedical staff and specialist consultancy for doctors still working at the hospital – who informed us of this latest bombardment by Israeli forces. Five people have been killed, our colleagues at Nasser Hospital report. It is difficult for healthcare workers to juggle these devastating attacks with the distance learning programme that GSI Italia has committed to providing them with.
