Description

“A further step to let the Roma youth be heard” is the follow-up of last-year project “Let the Roma youth be heard”, a training course on journalism addressed to 40 Roma young people which were required to publish the online newspaper Romagazine.eu.

This year, the new proposal which falls within the Lifelong Learning Programme, aims to organize a training course on journalism for 30 Youth workers coming from 5 European countries and from Turkey. The partner associations of the project are MERITUM (Poland), MDI (England), IQ SERVICE (Czech Republic), HRDc (Greece), AVRASYA (Turkey). The training course, which will be held in Spoleto, will be led by a professional journalist with the technical support of the association “Informatici senza Frontiere”, Tuscany section; it is addressed to 30 people working with the Roma community which will organize, at their return, a training course in their respective countries destined to 20 Roma young people.

By doing this, we hope to create an online platform where to post articles, news, videos and share information on Roma community all over Europe.
