DUBLIN, SHARED EUROPE: KICK-OFF MEETING

The Kick-off Meeting of the project “Dublin, shared Europe” took place online on the 25th and 26th of August. It was financed to GSI Italia by the European Union within the “Europe for Citizens” Program and it involves associations from Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia, as well as the University of Camerino.

The project, which lasts 18 months, has the main objective to contribute to a greater knowledge of the Union, calling upon the participants to become direct promoters of change: 1. increase awareness of its decision processes and contribute to them with ‘recommendations”; 2. host a contest and carry out a social media campaign; 3. prepare installations for large public events, with an opinion poll.

The Kick-off Meeting served to identify the general coordination steering group and the target population, to illustrate the project activities with the related information and awareness materials and to train 4 animators for each country, a process managed by the University of Camerino to share a model to accompany the participants in carrying out the debates with young students, scheduled to start from September.
