KILLED WHILES BREASTFEEDING

Mohammed Al-Khatib is the name of the young Palestinian boy whose mother was killed whilst breastfeeding him. He was also hit, but survived. Wounded in the arm, he had to have a foot amputated after it was mangled by the bomb. He is being treated at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, where GSI Italia has set up remote collaboration with the medical staff. The Association is currently working with the Jordanian and Palestinian embassies in Rome to bring the boy to Italy for surgery. We will keep you informed.
