From 4 to 6 November the kick-off meeting of the “Another ENTRance” project took place in Kiskunhalas, Hungary, involving associations from six European countries: Italy, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Macedonia and Romania.
The project, which has a duration of 16 months and will end at the end of 2020, aims to analyze the current situation in the field of social entrepreneurship through targeted research and interviews in partner countries; identify good practices to be transferred to other European contexts; understand the real needs of Roma communities in this sector through a survey with the same Roma and experts.
The project activities will consist of the creation of a questionnaire on social entrepreneurship to be administered to 30 Roma and 15 experts, whose results will feed into a national report and in a synthesis report of all the participating countries. International meetings are also planned in each of the partner countries to discuss and compare the activities carried out and to plan the following phases on the progress of the project.
