HUMANITARIAN AID IN UKRAINE

GSI Italia responded to the request for drugs and ambulances from the Ukrainian Embassy in Rome with the provision of an initial quantity of pharmaceutical products for current and surgical use, for a value of 24 thousand euros.

The pick-up is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday 4 March, in Spoleto to be promptly sent by air cargo organized by the army to handling centers near the border crossings still open for access to the country invaded by Russian forces.

In the meantime, we have activated the search for ambulances between the Misericordie and the Italian Health Authorities which in the past donated means of transport for the health projects of GSI Italia in Ethiopia and Congo.

The photos of a protective shelter were sent to GSI Italia by Maria, a doctor, our interlocutor in these days in Ukraine, with whom we remain in constant contact.
