A Shared Vision and Joint Action

Once again today, we have confirmation that a shared sense of solidarity unites the diverse world of our NGOs.
Ten thousand euros for the Health Campaign for Palestine, a donation from AFN Azione per Famiglie Nuove Fondazione Banco Farmaceutico ETS, an NGO from Lazio, part of the ForumSad network. Yesterday, it was the turn of SOS Solidarietà from Salerno, with its 40 beds, enough to set up a ward at Khan Younis Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip or at the Patriarchate Hospital. And a few days ago, thirty cubic metres of medical supplies were made available, procured by the Emilia-based association Nexus Solidarietà Internazionale, along with 100,000 euros’ worth of medicines provided by Banco Farmaceutico and already stored in the warehouses in Modena.
From the AOI associations, as well as those of Focsiv and ForumSad, there has been a steady stream of contacts and commitments to support a campaign that clearly ‘matters’ and that people feel they ‘must help’.
We would like to thank you for the commitment shown so far and invite all the associations in the network to continue to maintain a high level of attention and interest in the Palestinian health cause, identifying opportunities for dialogue and suggesting points of contact with our coordination team (antonioloiacono@gsitalia.org) within their own areas, thanks to their personal or social relationships with local health institutions and administrations or, conversely, by informing us of contacts already established by your associations, so that we may initiate direct dialogue or, alternatively, by letting us know about contacts already established by your associations, so that GSI Italia can initiate direct dialogue with the local authority.
