The construction of the multi-service center in Kinshasa has started
The contract for the construction of the new multi-service Center that GSI Italia intends to build in the Congolese capital has been signed. The work will be carried out by the Isco company, with the registered office in Mestre and that operational in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 2000.
The Center will have 45 beds for emergency shelters for street girls in difficulty due to illnesses, pregnancies and accidents. The hospital stays will be of six months, after which they will find reintegration into their families of origin or the relocation in protected structures for their social integration.
The Center will offer legal and psychological assistance with specialized staff and a primary education, because knowing how to read, write and do the math are the minimum measures for the initiation of self-determination processes.
