SHIPPING MEDICINES TO TANZANIA

Another shipment of medicines has set off from our headquarters in Spoleto, bound for St Mary’s Dispensary in Gwandumehhi village, Mbulu, Tanzania. The request came a few months ago from the Franciscan nun Meseret Melese, of Ethiopian origin, born in the south of the country, in the very same area where GSI Italia is working alongside 23 local communities in the agricultural sector, promoting the development of beekeeping.
It’s a small world. The world of poverty is even smaller. So word likely spread from Ethiopia to Tanzania, coming full circle back to Spoleto once again.
