CULTIVATE THE FUTURE

This is the title of the project funded by the Ministry of Social Policies for GSI Italia, running for 18 months between 2025 and 2026, and to be carried out in three different regions – Umbria, Marche and Calabria – with activities aimed specifically at young people, focusing on the themes of global citizenship and supporting their active involvement in local communities.
There is a growing tendency among the younger generations to adopt a passive, delegating attitude towards political and administrative life, environmental care and personal health, as well as intra- and intergenerational relationships, with critical issues arising in gender and interpersonal relations, often leading to bullying, whether as perpetrators or victims.
These are all forms of educational deprivation that call for educational and training initiatives from new ‘educating communities’, supporting the educational efforts of schools and families, capable of instilling a new attitude in the younger generations, such as to ensure the full development of individuals and their shared responsibility in building a sustainable and conscious society.
