The medical training sessions of doctors of Federico II University in Naples is completed

The training course covered about twenty medical and paramedical staff and was held in Soddo Hospital, in the south of the country. The course, which involved training in physiatric, concluded the activities of the health enhancement project in Dawro Konta region, which GSI Italia started in 2015. The mission met in Addis Ababa the representative of the Minister of Ethiopian Health: GSI Italia has presented the poster of the program for the prevention and treatment of female cancers launched by the Italian Association in 2016. During the meeting, which was requested by His Excellency the Ethiopian Ambassador in Italy, Mulugeta Alemseged Gessese, concerned the future of GSI Italia’s commitment in healthcare in the African country. It defined the ministerial line of action for the implementation of the action plan for cancer prevention and the Addis Ababa area was identified as the region of prime interest for the current 2017 year.
