The cost of anti-rejection therapy involves taking medication that is difficult to obtain in this East African country, as well as regular laboratory tests to monitor the effective doses of the treatment designed to prevent organ rejection.<br \/>\nThe ambulances bearing the GSI Italia insignia, donated by the Association to St Paul\u2019s Hospital in Addis Ababa, represent for Ashetu \u2013 as they do for the hundreds of other daily emergency cases and admissions to the capital\u2019s major hospital \u2013 the very real difference, all too often, between survival and death.<br \/>\nOne of the two ambulances made available to GSI Italia for Addis Ababa was provided by the Croce Bianca di Foligno.<br \/>\nAn ambulance can make all the difference in a city like Addis Ababa.
