Our NGO provides schools with educational activities they can include in their classes. The offer is organised in different didactic programs through which the we want to promote training courses, so as to allow a deep analysis on human conditions, from both an individual and collective point of view. The interventions are divided into two sections depending on their nature. The first section is composed of units through which analysing specific issues connected to cooperation and education to development, such as migration, environment, interculture, in order to spur a debate on values, attitudes and skills allowing to take part actively in social changes, increasing our own confidence in what we can do to improve local and global conditions. The second section is made of three courses, divided into units. The first course deals with a set of topics which are of particular interest and follows an anthropological perspective. The main topics, among others, are intercultural issues, folk traditions, opinions and attitudes relevant to our body (attitudes causing eating disorders), aesthetics, health and illness, etc. The second course encompasses a didactical experience on the Expressive Counselling in order to teach students how to relate to adults and other young people, and to allow them to master anxiety, fears and stress. Finally, the third course focuses on American Studies, and follow an anthropological, historical, and cultural approach. The topics centre on pre- and post-Colombian world, the current situation, and offer an outstanding opportunity to get in touch with \u201cother\u201d cultures through the support of original documents written and \/ or collected during in situ missions and researches which were carried out in indigenous realities. The participation of teachers, in both planning and operations steps, is of paramount importance to guarantee the success of the initiatives.<\/p>\n
